Ag. & Diesel students must be able to:

  • Read and comprehend service manual information and instructions

  • Comprehend and use mechanical engineering math when using specifications

  • Stand and work on their feet for several hours at a time

  • Communicate well with customers, managers and fellow workers 

  • Use PC based computers to access technical information and trouble shoot problems with diesel powered equipment

  • Have good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to perform mechanical repairs

  • Perform the job in both hot and cold conditions
