HVACR students must
Use personal safety equipment and operate machinery according to OSHA standards
Have skills in customer relations and verbal communications
Be open-minded about work hours and weather conditions associated with the HVACR field
Have a concept of electricity and operation of air conditioning and heating equipment
Obtain required certifications for handling of refrigerants
