The test center at Buckeye Career Center in New Philadelphia, Ohio is the go-to Pearson VUE testing site for hundreds of testers a year across East Central Ohio and beyond, with our most-frequent testers completing the Ohio Assessments for Educators (OAE), the GED® for High School Equivalency, American Medical Technologists (AMT), CompTIA (for Information Technology), and dozens of other certification and licensure exams offered through the extensive Pearson VUE testing catalog. Testers register for and schedule their test through their respective exam's official site, which pairs with the testing center availability at Buckeye Career Center.
ACT WorkKeys is a job skills assessment system that helps employers select, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performance workforce. This series of computer-based assessments measures foundational skills and as part of ACT's Work Readiness System. ACT WorkKeys has helped millions of people in high schools, colleges, professional associations, businesses, and government agencies build their skills to increase global competitiveness and develop successful career pathways. Successful completion of ACT WorkKeys assessments in Applied Mathematics, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents is utilized at Buckeye Career Center for enrollment into its full-time programs and EMT classes, and can also lead to earning ACT's National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).

Buckeye Career Center is also the area's testing location for Fire and EMS certifications, EPA 608 (HVAC+R), Certiport's Adobe and Microsoft credentialing, and partners with Ed-2-Go (Cengage Learning) for online skill enhancement course opportunities.
