New Philadelphia, OH (November 4, 2024) - Buckeye Career Center will host its annual Fall Open House on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. This event offers an excellent opportunity for prospective students, parents, alumni, former staff, and community members to explore the center's diverse educational offerings and engage with the Buckeye Career Center staff.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility and learn about the over 30 high school programs available for the 2025-2026 academic year. Visitors can meet instructors, view classrooms, and engage with program labs, while academic displays will be featured in the cafeteria. A complimentary meal will be provided to all guests. The highlight of the event is the opening of the 2025-2026 high school application at 5:30pm. Attendees can complete paper applications or the use BCC technology to apply. The application will also be posted at www.BuckeyeCareerCenter.org at 5:30pm. Students who apply for the 2025-2026 school year during the event will receive a small gift for completing the application.
In addition, Buckeye Career Center's Adult Education staff will be available to discuss full-time, part-time, and career-enhancement options for adults. They will also provide information on the Adult Diploma Program (ADP), which allows any Ohio resident needing a high school diploma the option to enroll in a class for free. ADP graduates also earn industry-recognized credentials.
Alumni and former staff are invited to gather in the Joe Carlisle Marketplace for light refreshments and a chance to reconnect. Past yearbooks will be displayed, and alumni attendees will receive a special gift. The marketplace will also feature items for purchase, including cookies, coffee, flowers, and Buckeye Career Center apparel.
